Overview
This half-day experience in Basel combines Swiss chocolate craftsmanship with a guided exploration of the city’s historic Old Town. The tour begins with a hands-on bean-to-bar chocolate workshop, where participants learn about cocoa origins, the chocolate-making process, and the techniques used to create high-quality artisan chocolate. Guests will temper, mold, and taste different varieties while discovering Switzerland’s long tradition of chocolate innovation. After the workshop, the experience continues with a walking tour through Basel’s medieval Old Town. Highlights include the colorful streets of Spalenberg, the historic Marktplatz and red Town Hall, and the Basel Minster overlooking the Rhine.
