Gyeongdong Market is a big place in Dongdaemun District, Seoul. It's famous for selling herbal medicine and ginseng in South Korea. The market started in 1960. Now, it gives 70 percent of the country's herbal medicine ingredients. There are over 1,000 shops and clinics there. Gyeongdong Market is not just about medicine. It's also a big place for selling fruits, vegetables, and fish. It's really huge, about five times the size of the Seoul Sangam World Cup Stadium. We can also find cooking ingredients at the market.

This Starbucks store, situated within a restored theater in Gyeongdong Market, operates under an agreement that benefits both local merchants and Starbucks. Collaborating with LG Electronics, Starbucks has transformed the space into a cultural hub, featuring the LG Gold Star Radio Refresh Center. Additionally, the stage hosts weekly cultural and artistic performances by local artists and college students, embracing the theater's concept. To evoke the ambiance of an old theater, Starbucks has introduced a Retro Theater-like design concept. The store also offers unique customer experiences, including freshly baked artisanal foods and exclusive merchandise, ensuring a distinctive visit for customers.
