We prioritize exceptional quality and strive to provide the highest-quality snorkeling tours in Silfra. Unlike other tour operators, we operate only one snorkeling group per timeslot, ensuring an exclusive experience for our customers. Our attention to detail is unparalleled throughout the tour. Notably, we are the sole tour operator at Silfra offering Dry Gloves, providing much greater warmth for your hands. At the start of the tour, we provide an overview of the geological formations that have shaped Silfra’s existence, followed by a comprehensive explanation of Drysuits snorkeling. We then enjoy the snorkeling expedition into the world’s clearest waters, guided by a personal guide for approximately 25-30 minutes and create a memory for a lifetime. Following the unique experience, we invite you to unwind with a warm beverage of hot chocolate, accompanied by snacks and a brief chat.

Being able to snorkel in the Silfra fissure is a privilege that mother nature literally opened up for us. Silfra is a big 'crack' in the ground located in Thingvellir on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge formed as two tectonic plates move apart from each other. The benefits of choosing the wetsuit option is you can dive down and have the most unique perspective, seeing above and below the water. This choice is popular for scuba divers who do not have the required certifications for the scuba dive. If you're not a confident swimmer then the drysuit can be a better option. Prior experience snorkeling/ diving will help you greatly to dive down but is not necessary. You can book the drysuit option on another listing for you or other people in your group for the same time tour. We always have small groups, 6 people per guide. This allows for a more closer and personal feel. If you have a group of 7 or more you can be together preparing your equipment but in the water some of you will be separate.

Snorkeling in a wetsuit in Iceland is something that may sound crazy but it can be one of the most rewarding things you can ever do. Hearing what our guides know and what our customers say after the tour is the reason we offer the wetsuit to you. We are the only company that offer a wetsuit and a drysuit. This allows multiple people in your group to decide what is truly the right fit for them to tailor make your day. Most people who choose the wetsuit do so because they want to be able to dive down. Therefore because of this this option is popular with scuba divers who do not have the required certifications for the drysuit scuba dive. When underwater a serene silence washes over you that can only be experienced by being under the water in a wetsuit. It is something that makes this quite possibly the best way to view the waters of Silfra, consistently over 100 metre in visibility. If you're not a particularly confident swimmer then the drysuit snorkel is an easier option for you.

Snorkel in between two continents at one of the top diving sites in the planet! Silfra is located in Iceland’s National Park, Thingvellir. It is a fissure that was formed by the divergent tectonic drift of the Eurasian and North American plates. What makes Silfra exceptionally unique is not only its geological significance, but it is also world-renowned for its crystal clear, fresh glacial water. This is constantly fed with a steady stream of 100m+ visibility drinkable water that creates the unique bio-diversity in this fissure. We are the only operator in Silfra offering both drysuit and wetsuit together. This means multiple people in your group can book their preferred option. We include photos as standard so you don't have the hassle of handling your own camera, but you are welcome to bring one!
