The St. Photios Greek Orthodox National Shrine, is dedicated to the first colony of Greek, Italian, and Minorcan peoples who came to New Smyrna in 1768. The Shrine consists of exhibits depicting the life of these Mediterranean immigrants in Florida and their arrival to St. Augustine in 1777.

The former Ponce de Leon Hotel was an exclusive luxury hotel in St. Augustine, Florida, built by millionaire developer and Standard Oil co-founder Henry M. Flagler and completed in 1888. The hotel was designed in the Spanish Renaissance style as the first major project of the New York architecture firm Carrère & Hastings, which would go on to gain world renown.

Meet outside The Bart Art Gallery, south of the Plaza. There is no parking at the meeting location; guests may use hourly street parking on the Plaza or at 79–99 Granada St, or flat-fee parking at 5 Artillery Lane or the Historic Garage at 1 Cordova St (15-min walk).

The tour finishes back in the center of the city at the main Plaza, very near to where the tour started.
